Gamelife Hits it Big On MTV

Or, at least mtv.com. GameLife, the surprisingly popular, unabashedly amateur game review show, is now part of MTV's OverDrive, an online video channel that doesn't work in most browsers. Assuming anyone can actually load the player, you'll be able to see GameLife segments as part of the "G-Hole" show in the "Games" area.

Don't worry, though-- behind the mtv.com URL and (what seems like hours of) ads and MTV filler, you'll still find the same production values and stage presence that are GameLife's claim to fame.

I got to use OverDrive before it came out, and I loves me some MTV for people who can't actually get MTV. I made suggestions, and a couple were actually implemented, so rock on for that. Currently, I don't actually have time to hit up OverDrive, because it does have a bit of funky loading stuff and it feels not worth it now, but I did love being able to program my own MTV. This lack of especially shallow pop culture content will just result in about a week straight of MTV/MTV2/VH1 screen-glueage of my face when I return to Decent Cableland. I miss Viva La Bam!!

Yeah, I said it.
